Sale time!

Well tomorrow is Christmas Eve so I thought this would be a good time to say a huge thank you to all the customers who have visited us at Green Ginger throughout the last 12 months. Without you I wouldn't have a business or food on my table so trust me when I say I really do appreciate your custom!!

And a big thank you as well to the staff at Green Ginger who have worked so hard as always. Good staff are hard to find and your dedication and the way you all really care about the business makes work a pleasure for me.  Thank you. (And I'm sorry for the times I get a bit grumpy too!!)

This year we are closed on Boxing Day but re-open on the 27th for our January sale. All Christmas cards and all gifts will be half priced this year so a visit to Green Ginger will be even more worthwhile than usual.

(Please note the shopping centre and most of the town is closed completely on New Year's Day.)

May News

As always there's been lots of new stock arriving in May. The Union Jack products have kept coming ready for the Jubilee celebrations and the Olympics.

A stand full of beautiful Tea-Lights arrived, the holes in the ceramic spell words like "Mum" for example. So the word glows through the holder. Lovely.

The wordy tea-towel stand is now well stocked again. A great gift that is LIGHT and easy to pack or post.

Finally for May our latest best selling line is this stand of keyring-torches with names on. I thought they'd be great for children but all the adults keep buying them for themselves too. They don't take up much space so it is a very wide range too, with a fair few names that don't get done on a product which needs more space on the stand.

April news

We've moved things around this year to take advantage of the year on year increase in sales to Shrewsbury's visitor trade. Every year the sales of fridge magnets, postcards and so on have increased. This year with the Jubilee celebrations and the olympics we thought this process will certainly continue. All the regular gift lines are still in the shop of course, as is our unbeatable range of greeting cards.

February news.

The new spinner has arrived from Abracardabra. On it is a range of notebook and pen sets with ladies names on, some lovely keyrings and some keepsake cards. The spinner rightly has been given pride of place at the front of the shop.

Fedbruary news

The Shrewsbury and Shropshire gift area is begining to grow again ready for the 2012 visitor season. Acrylic and ceramic fridge magnets, keyrings, local scene mugs, Union Jack mugs, tea towels all all arriving slowly. For later this year we have ordered some local scene thimbles for the first time as well.

Well the January sale is nearly over but there's a bunch of Further Reductions in store, mostly end of ranges but all good stuff. Also some ongoing special offers to keep you interested, for example our lovely gift wrap is staying at 8 sheets for 50p for thew time being.

Pic one shows our adult age range which must surely be the best in the country and includes loads of age relations such as dad 4oth and so on.

The last two pics show the new Valentines and Mothers Day ranges which are now in store. A great selection of both once again.

Pic three shows part of our Discount Zone where a big range of cards starts at just 30p. This recession busting area is really booming at the moment.

The second pic shows the new male named keyrings from Mulberry Studios are now in stock. Priced at just £2.99 they make a great gift.
